Hi Everyone,
As you may know, UNH is in the process of implementing Open GeoPortal on top of our Fedora Commons digital repository.
Recently, we performed a round of usability testing on the OGP 2.0 beta with three participants each with GIS experience. Here is our report:
http://www.library.unh.edu/pdf/Usability-Testing-Report-Open-GeoPortal.pdf
Participants were given twelve tasks to perform and asked to think out loud as they went.
If you’re interested in watching the testing, we have video from two of the participants available. Each session is about 50 minutes:

Apologies for any cross-posting.
Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob,
This looks great. Thanks so much for sharing. I think we should definitely set up a time to discuss this study and previous studies as we plan for further OGP interface developments.
Thanks for all the hard work,
Patrick
