Greetings,

I hope everyone's summer is going well. I wanted to reach out to the community email list to welcome the new subscribers and inform the community of ongoing work / potential work with GeoBlacklight.

Thanks to Allen Lin and Eliot Jordan, ESRI web services support in GeoBlacklight should be coming very soon. If you are interested in contributing to the discussion about ESRI service support feel free to reach out to the list or contribute to the discussion on the Pull Request. Ideally this will be added in before the ESRI User Conference (July 19).

Another new potential feature being discussed is extending dct_references to allow for multiple file downloads per layer. I've created an issue on GitHub and other's feedback is most welcome.

A group of us will be at the upcoming ESRI User Conference, so please do not hesitate to reach out so we can meet up. There will be a lightning talk at the ESRI Education Conference on GeoBlacklight and a presentation on "Preservation of GIS data" at the main ESRI User Conference.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
