Bounding Box not well aligned with epsg:3003

Dear list,

we are having a weird behavior in the test instance of geodata@Polimi (https://geodata.test.polimi.it/opengeoportal/) while dealing with raster data which have the projection in the subject, that is actually a projection mostly used in Italy.

Apparently everything is working fine but the bounding box retrieved from the metadata in solr is shifted and not well aligned with the image streamlined from geoserver which is also published with that same epsg.

Did anyone in the past encounter such kind of unexpected behavior?
