Apart from my GIMP Paint Studio packaging causing a wave of posts in various news sites, most of our integration work has been accepted in KXStudio. The Paint Studio is already uploaded, OpenRaster plugins and thumbnailers are being uploaded as I type this. GIMP-Painter will be uploaded later today.
It's so nice to be open-source.

Actually, for making the OS we could partner with them, they seem very
open-minded to me. This way we can focus on making solely furry addons
while they handle the artistic part. If we still want an OS, which I really doubt at the moment.

More good news: KXStudio team has contributed back by packaging OpenRaster thumbnailer for KDE. You can get the updated build at https://launchpad.net/~kxstudio-team/+archive/ppa/
I'll integrate it back into my recipe-driven PPA ASAP. It's twice as nice to be open-source now :)
