Dear All, The topic for this Sunday was "Higher Education". There are indeed many issues that are important but we have the time limit of about 2 hours, Some of us had a preiminary round of discussion on the possible topics for discussion. The proposed agenda is: 1. Expansion (Based on several parameters like number of students, number of institutions, field-wise, state-wise etc etc. 2. Inclusion (of different segements of the population) 3. Quality 4. Govt.policies (admissions, fees, accreditation, court verdicts, loans ......) 5. Education as the Global Trade, India's  "import", "export" in this trade Additions / deletions of  the topics could be the "first" agenda item when we meet on Sunday!
