More than one delay timer

Hi,

Is there a way to have one extra delay timer set up in firmware somhow? I use one for nightly charging but my utility company also provides cheap electricity for about 2 hours during a day.

My car has 6.6kW charger so this would replenish like half of the battery in that time cheaply.

Sorry, there’s no more space for more code in the EVSE’s onboard MCU. Best to implement multiple timers in an external processor, such as an addon to the ESP8266 code

Ok, as we talk about ESP is there a way I could live without LCD all together? Like just having old fassioned RGB led for faults and everything else via wifi web interface?

Chris used to sell a standalone I2C RGB LED (don’t know if he still carries it.. hopefully, he’ll chime in).

There is also code for hooking up discrete LED’s but it’s a bit more complicated, since there aren’t dedicated pins

in the latest versions of the hardware … see “obsolete LED pin” in open_evse.h

Is there schematics of this thing out there (doesn't look to complicated to fabricate in-house)?

Shipping to EU is almost twice of the device value :(
