I make project of combustion to electric car conversion. I have to connect two battery parallel in my new electric car.
As part of the development of this project, I have reached the stage where we have to separate the CCS communication protocol into two batteries at car side. Because is one charger of power 400kW.
This includes communication between the charger and the car. I need a controller in the car that will communicate with the charger using CP and PP for AC charging and Power line communication (high level Ethernet) for DC charging. Two battery are from Tesla Model 3 long range.
Below I am sending variables from high level communication and the concept sketch.
If some one of you be able to make controller (perharps you have it) to divide the variable into two batteries?
The aim of the project is to charge two batteries in parallel, i.e. with a double power of 400kW.

Thanks,
Marek

When charging, the charging supply simply provides the voltage at some maximum current rate.  There should be a controller (BMU) on each battery that determines the current drawn by that battery.  The two BMUs should communicate with each other to assure the combined current does not exceed the maximum current the charging supply can provide.  I don't think the term BMU includes the actual power controller that matches the input voltage with the battery voltage.  You will need two of those, one for each battery.

If you are not aware of these issues, I would caution you regarding such a project.  Electrical designs can be much more complicated and dangerous than mechanical designs.  If not managed properly the battery can catch fire and explode.

Be safe!
