Hi all,

I've been using OpenEVSE v5 board for home charging my EV. Unfortunately my EV does only 2-phase charging.

As per OpenEVSE it has two energy consumption calculation methods (for 3-phase system 1-phase calculation is multiplied by 3). Also OpenEVSE has automatic 1-phase/3-phase detection (by detecting voltage on L1 and L3).

Would it be possible to change GFCI coils (eventualy digital inputs) to see if current is flowing on L2 and L3 and make calculation on that?

I know that it would need to disable the GFCI safety feature, but still, safety can still be implemented trough RCB.

This post is a month old with no reply.  Is it official, yet?  This group is effectively dead...

Yeah the Google forum is pretty dead. The "official" forum at support.openevse.com is monitored much more frequently.

The Google group could be easier to see when something new comes in, but it only shows if there are messages you have not viewed and there is no way to flag all as "read" without actually opening them.  So no practical way of flagging the hundreds of existing messages as having been read so you can see when new ones come in.
