Of course it requires an electrician to wire in an EVSE or an outlet in a home for EV charging.  But I'm thinking there are other, potentially bigger opportunities for business connecting all the parties.  You are buying an EV, you need someone who will get your connected with an EV charging solution as not many know what to even ask an electrician.

Accessories... A guy in the EU sells a cable hanger so the cable doesn't lay on the floor of the garage.  This should be made available to everyone buying an EVSE or outlet.  I expect other products will be appropriate for the same marketing approaches.

One thing I'm a bit disappointed with is the many problems of controlling the timing of charging.  I'm on ToU billing with two high tariff periods per day.  My car doesn't handle that.  My EVSE should but doesn't (I'm still using a the Tesla mobile connector).  That's one of the reasons why I'm here.

So does anyone agree with me that a regional one stop shopping approach to EVSE home installation makes sense?  One contact to arrange installation of a EVSE along with all the information you need to select the device.
