Is openwrap project dead?

There is no activity around OW for quite long time. Are there any plans to continue work on this project?

I wouldn't consider it dead, but it could definitely use some love.
There really should be some work done to get a new version out with
the stuff that is currently on master. I tested the version on master
a bit several months ago and it seemed to be working fine, but the
problem is that for upgrading to the new version, also a new version
of openwrap-shell is needed. I don't really see how the upgrade should
be done in a clean way, and that is actually stopping me from just
building master myself (with some fixes that are available as pull
requests on github) and using that for my own projects.
