A nominal Imax for Flash led is less than 500mA
but the strombe mode put this to 1.5A ( T<50ms ) (time less than 50ms )

In the LG sources, the LED has been used for the video mode, so
constant light should be doable.
So you say that we must operate the LED on a lower current to reach
safe operation?
In the code are 16 levels of brightness, but I don't know how the map
to currents. Maybe there is something in the service manual?

@iarehman: Changelog is there but that doesn't mean it's out. I guess they
are probably building the *.img and will upload it *when it's ready*.

I can answer that.
What it means is that  if you drive that led with 1500ma, you can only do it safely for 50ms, and then have to wait 3 seconds to do it again.
But we don't know how LG implemented the flash circuitry. If the circuitry drive the led with 500ma we can keep it on continually  (DC means direct current, without turning off ).

And 500ma isn't that low: 500ma*3.4V=0.5A*3.4V=1.7W,  quite high for a LED this size.

Probably who did the circuit made sure you couldn't easily fry it, either limiting the maximum current or placing circuit safeguards.

With the new version gapps-mdpi-20101020-signed same issue. The strange
thing is that CardioTrainer app (which i download from market) also isn't
in the phone.And Google Maps it's ok :S
The apps that are don't working with 6.1RC3, are Youtube, Gmail, Market,
CardioTrainer and the widget of weather and news.

Great work. This work seems like a juggler juggling the balls. A fixed
number of balls in hand(fixed issues) and fixed number in air(bugs).
Speaker problem solved, GPS stopped working. They stopped speaker so hardly
that it is unable to speak now :)

Guys, if you have problems installing the gapps i do this...
first, i conect the usb and the phone on, but not in store mode(like a
pendrive..sorry if i cant explain well, my english its not very good)in
debugging mode and the open the cmd in the pc,then.....when you are in the
sdk folder....you type these:
1)adb remount
2)adb shell
in that moment, if you have #, you can move on!
then you have to write or copy paste(with the mouse not with command) this :
(the # is an asteric "*")

and...READY!! =)

i just tried a bit bootv2.4.2.img with systemv6.1-rc4.img,
and until now no problem, exept a bit laggy/crashy on the main screen (ok i
had too many widgets and icons, i re-arranged it, now its good again)
i'm at 710Mhz ("temp+cpu widget", had to delete widget, i think it might be
the reason of my laggy/crashy).
market/google sync/gps fine. didn't test audio yet.
(i have the gapps installed in sdcard root, so maybe u still need this)
(i must tell in the previous version my gps worked too but needed ~5min to
initialise).
taking photos works at 3Mpixel (and i cant have the option to try
5Mpix...), but camera makes the app crash (in previous i had reboot).

Hm, either the app is broken or requires specific things that our hardware
cannot do. See "Neo core" for an OpenGL benchmark, which was not working at
all before we fixed 3d.
