for those of you not getting the shumatech traffic, her is an example
of why there needs to be an independent and free group to discuss the
opendro developments (not just software). the autocratic nature of the
shumatech moderator is beginning to show itself. and the author can't
respond because he has been bounced from the shumatech group. but even
if he were there, the moderator would make sure there are not
dissenting messages.

Guys,

I can't allow posting and discussion of these "unofficial guides" on
the group. The author took large sections of copyrighted text and
graphics from my own works and then misrepresented himself as the sole
author and tried to copyleft them. Outside of the illegality of
copyright violation, I find that kind of conduct petty and
unacceptable.

Thanks,
Scott

I know we have this group, but we also have

ShumaTechOpen

on Yahoo.  I did this so that a person searching on Yahoo for the ShumaTech group would also see this one.  If we can get enough people to migrate over perhaps some of Scott's stranglehold can be broken or at least alternate viewpoints can be voiced.

Interesting how Scott complains about copyright violations when he is probably the biggest violator of anyone.

Regards,
Gary
