Hello,
today I just installed this software and it works very fine!
I was wondering if is possible to overwrite custom properties during checkin action.

also, is it possible to configure the tool in order to work like this:
- Adding new document, in case the file name is the same, the tool will not create a new "row" but the old entry is updated. I see that there is no unique identifier during upload documents, so is easy to have duplication of file.

Thx very very much to have developod this tool! It is very useful to manage internal project.

Ciao

You can write a plug-in to handle that situation.

There are situations where multiple files might have the same name but belong to different departments. Each file is assigned an ID number that it keeps for its lifetime.

Do you have any suggestions on how better to handle this?

In my company, that is Ericsson, We have a tool to manage Documents and SOftware that in that case use the revision label to differentiate the file.
In case the user add a new document having the same properties (same title, same departments) the file must be stored in the same way of check-in/check-out.

Also should be very usefull to create Folder. Just in order to browse better the packages uploaded. What u think?
