to opendetection
Hi

I am Aishik Pyne an Undergrad student at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I am currently working on a research paper at my own University regarding improvements that can be made to a fuzzy type 2 algorithm for facial feature recognition. I have developed interests in the field of Computer Vision which keeps fascinating me as I keep learning more about it.I also have good experience in markup as I have developed 2 websites for my University before in my freshman and sophomore years.

I find the project idea for developing examples and tutorials very important.

As I was looking through the code of Open Detection, I had a tough time understanding the working and the applications of the libraries. The API documentation given on the website isn't very friendly and doesn't furnish good explanations to its first-time users.

I wanted to ask what is the priority of this project being selected for GSoC?

Along with this, I think it is important to have a more detailed instruction on how to install Open Detection on different platforms along with all its dependencies. Maybe even small video tutorials can help.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks
Best Regards
Aishik Pyne
