Improving the Framework for CNNs for 2D detection

Hi,
I am Gautam Malu, a masters student at IIIT-Hyderabad, India. My proposal got accepted for GSOC 2017, with this organization. I will be working on adding CNNs based classifiers and detectors in the opendetection's framework.
Before starting the work, I would love getting some feedback on my proposal. please let me know how I can improve my plan, or if you have any other approaches in mind.

Hi,
We will soon (earliest after 24th May) have a group skype meeting and
discuss the proposal. Primarily, the work will include, as you mention,
creating a detection and trainer class. Over this weekend (26-28) we
will try to create an elaborate plan for the first phase of the project.
