Hello,
I've had a laser cutter for awhile and have heard about OpenDesk. I was looking into expanding my workshop to a full size CNC. I know there is the Shaper Origin and the Goliath that are non-traditional CNC routers (sorta). But I was looking to see what kind of cost is involved in purchasing a CNC machine that can do a full 4' x 8' sheet of plywood.
Thanks for your help.
Tony

I started with an Xcarve thinking "Yea sure I'm smart enough. I can still take some of the designs and break them out to cut piece by piece on the xCarve". That ended up being waaaaaaay more work than I was willing to put in. Just sold the Xcarve and my Origin got delivered today. Gonna try out johann bench this weekend.

Check out CNC Router Parts. I'm replacing my machine right now, Standard for a Pro 4x8 and am very happy with them. Great machine and support to boot. Making Opendesk jobs you could pay off the machine in a few good sized jobs.
