I'd desperately need to convert ONE .txt file to .srt. I do not have the budget to buy Belle Nuit at this point.
It is the only thing standing in the way of releasing the movie in some territories.

Hope you got the email from Sublimage.

Other option worth a try is Subtitle Workshop for windows. That thing
opens nearly everything but it's a bit outdated.

Did you also try SubtitleEdit? It seems to support saving in "Timed Text 1.0" XML.

thanks, all worked out! sublimage helped right away. but for the record: i also found a freeware way as well but it is a little bit more work and not 100% accurate. but is fine in case you have no windows.
