i should add that I already tried all of the solutions mentioned here: https://code.google.com/p/opendcp/issues/detail?id=84
using the provided templates there also does not work!

hello there!

I used this tool: http://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/dcp to convert a FCP XML into a SMPTE XML and MXF file. the author claims full compatibility. however, what I do not know and understand is how to implement the subtitles. openDCP gives an error when trying to use either one of those two files for subtitle conversion and the resulting DCP is also not playable if I just select the subtitle MXF in the DCP build option. the examples the author of the website gives for the right DCP structure for subtitles is completely different from what openDCP makes. how come? what's the trick? anyone with a solution/experience on that?

thanks and all the best

Oi Diogo,
