Hi

The MadLab has been booked for the next Open Data Manchester meeting.
It is on Tuesday 24th August 6.30pm - 9pm

We were originally going to have Jeff Gilfelt, the guy behind the
Asborometer come up and talk about his work, but unfortunately he cant
make it this month.

There has been a lot of activity since the last meeting. Lots of new
data has been made open, apps made and people in the papers. Let's
hear about it.

I have been asked by Manchester City Council to ask people about what
data they would like to be made available when their open data pages
come online. I have a list of datasets that they have been looking at
and I will post when I get time to write it all out.

We could also talk about the best way of managing and maintaining Open
Data Manchester's online presence Especially if we start to host
datasets such as those released by GMPTE.

If anyone can think of other stuff that could be discussed/presented
post it up.

Cheers

Julian

I'd be happy to talk about http://traffordopendata.heroku.com and http://traffordspending.heroku.com

I have some ideas on how to make this data more interactive and to crowd-source additional information. Would love the opportunity to get some ideas flowing and formed.

Also, I'd like to be able to plug the Bus Fair idea and meeting on Tuesday the following week.

Ta, Ben
