Dear all,

 

As per the workshop outcomes, we have a task to work on:

 

ACTION: Simon Oliver to convene an initial meeting of a working group to define the repository management scheme, consisting mostly of developers as well as 1-2 members of the governance sub-committee. Several initial members were identified: Matt Paget (CSIRO), Dave Gavin (GA), Damien Ayres (GA), Andrew Hicks (GA), Otto Wagner (AMA), Peter Wang (CSIRO), and Trevor Dhu (GA). The work of the group should be conducted in the open, and members should have the ability to opt in.

-          The target should be to have an initial structure outline by 31 March, to be refined following discussion at the WGISS meeting in early April.

 

Could I propose we have a kick-off session soon, say Thursday 16 March before or after the GA Showcase session?

 

I saw there was another thread following on from the ad-hoc Wednesday afternoon break-out during the workshop week. It would good to capture the ideas in that thread through to this draft repository structure group.
