Hello!

I'm getting very excited as we approach September, when world leaders will gather in New York City to announce new commitments to climate action. But wait, there's more...

The week prior, developers around the world will team up with big brains in the climate change field to produce technical solutions to climate change. And I'm inviting you to join us!

The world's biggest global hack against climate change

Geeklist #hack4good unites the world's leading minds to build solutions to humanity's greatest problems. Uniting globally 12-14 September 2014, 3,000+ leading software engineers, hackers, ui/ux designers, product makers, founders, thought leaders and civic-minded organisations will gather in 40+ global cities to hack against climate change, building prototypes of technology solutions that address 15 global climate change challenges. How you can participate

1. Sign up for #hack4good
• Join the global virtual hackathon
• Find an event in your city and join a team
• Add ideas for the hackers to work on
2. Promote the event
• Please let your networks know about #hack4good.
• Hack4good is on Facebook.
• @hack4goodBC is the twitter account for local participants. 
• So far we have an event being organized in Victoria, graciously sponsored by CGI, and it has limited space.
• Print and post a flyer.
3. Volunteer locally or for the global organizing team
