Take part in the Canadian-wide CODE Hackathon!

The Canadian Open Data Experience (CODE) is an intense 48-hour coding sprint where innovators from coast to coast compete to build the best app utilizing federal government data from Canada's Open Government portal.

OpenGovGear is organizing a space in Victoria for all CODE contestants to work on their apps and collaborate.

Even if you aren't entered in CODE, come on by to write some code or just mingle with like-minded individuals!

Interesting article in today's print Globe and Mail by John Lorinc. David Eaves is
extensively quoted. The online version has a different title, but the text appears to be
similar, if not identical.
