python bindings for xml storage

Dear newsgroup,

How can I use the python interface to opencv (2.3) to write xml files?
The documentation (http://opencv.itseez.com/modules/core/doc/
xml_yaml_persistence.html) shows the C++ interface, but I cannot find
the equivalent python functions. I can create a FileStorage object,
but cannot write data with this object.

Hi Pieter,

I'm not a Python guy, but couldn't you just use a regular XML
writing utility? Googling turns up a few that might help.

You may also try cross-posting to the Android-OpenCV group.
There's a lot of sharp OpenCV guys over there and it's a lot more
active that this list.
