Hello everyone,

My name is Harshit Rajput, and I am a 2nd-year B.Tech CSE student preparing for Google Summer of Code 2026. I am particularly interested in contributing to OpenCV, with a strong focus on C++ and core vision modules.

Recently, I have been exploring the objdetect module, specifically around QR code detection and decoding. I’ve spent time reading and debugging the relevant OpenCV source code to understand the internal pipeline and am now looking to contribute meaningfully—starting with small fixes, optimizations, or improvements in this area.

I’m here to learn from the community, understand current development priorities, and actively contribute where possible. I would appreciate any guidance on suitable issues or areas where contributions would be most helpful at this stage.
