Dear OpenCV Community,

My name is Shreed Shrivastava, a Computer Science undergraduate exploring the OpenCV ecosystem with the intent to contribute meaningfully over time.

I have experience working with Python, computer vision pipelines, and applied ML through internships and personal projects, and I’m currently familiarizing myself with the OpenCV codebase, open issues, and past GSoC project ideas. My goal is to start with small, well-scoped contributions, learn from community feedback, and steadily build trust through consistent work.

I’m here to learn the right way—by contributing code, improving documentation where needed, and supporting ongoing efforts. I would appreciate any guidance on beginner-friendly issues or areas where help is currently needed.
