Hello everyone,

My name is Anjani Devireddy, and I am interested in contributing to OpenCV, especially as part of my preparation for Google Summer of Code (GSoC).

I am currently exploring computer vision using Python and OpenCV, and I’m in the early stages of understanding OpenCV’s modules and codebase. My goal is to learn how OpenCV works internally, improve my CV skills, and start contributing through beginner-friendly issues such as documentation improvements, small bug fixes, or Python-based enhancements.

I have experience with Python and AI/ML fundamentals, and I am eager to learn from the community and follow best practices in open-source development. As a beginner contributor, I would really appreciate any guidance on:

good starting issues,
areas that currently need help, or
how new contributors can get involved effectively.
