GSOC 2025 - Clarification on IDEA: Synchronized multi camera video recorder

Hi there,

I'm interested in participating in GSOC 2025, in particular the idea: IDEA: Synchronized multi camera video recorder.

I'd like some clarification on what the ask/request is for this project? I get the concept of multi-camera synchronization outlined in the article, but what exactly do we need to implement in OpenCV itself?

Is it just asking for proof/samples that super low latency synchronized video can be done with opencv?
