GSoC 2025 OpenCV Interest in Project Opportunities

2. Integrate Fractal ArUco into OpenCV (Easy) - Rafael Muñoz Salinas, Shiqi Yu
3. Integrate JuMarker ArUco into OpenCV (Hard) - Rafael Muñoz Salinas, Shiqi Yu

Here are my qualifications:

Past Experience:

• CCIR (Cambridge Centre for International Research) Future Scholar Program
  • Worked with Dr. Yasrab, a senior researcher at Cambridge. During this program, I developed a Residual Neural Network (RNN) to process sequential data, where the order of inputs matters and memory of past inputs influences current outputs. 
    
  • Python
• SRA (Samsung Research America) Scholar Intern
  • Investigated various AI tools utilized in smartphones, including item detection, word prediction, and handwriting adaptation. 
    
  • Python, C++

Current Experience:

• Engineering Without Borders—Guatemala
  • Inspired by EPANET, I am currently building a multiplatform version of it. 
    
  • TypeScript, JavaScript
• RPM (Robotics: Perception and Motion) Lab @ UMN (University of Minnesota)
  
  • Project 1: Writing code for a demo (details can be provided upon request). 
    
  • Project 2: Evaluating which architecture is superior (GLOMAP vs. COLMAP).
