Notes from the call:
Last call was Jul 1st
Accomplishments (past 2 weeks):
- Initial Quanta Support
- 70 Node install completed with Ceph
- New screens
- Monitor
- Family (one of these things is not like the others)
- Menu reorg
- Help about removed
- UI Bugs fixed
- Retry all button
- New Installation path (discussion)
- Now install Wizard
- Now new JSON install files
- LLDP network information now being gathered and used in a deployment
- 12.03.4 support added
- Can now disable IPV6
- Ceph deployment can now span networks
Release for Drill:
Not yet Dev Complete. Need to finish install wizard.
Cut Release Branch after next Community meeting
ToDo for next week:
Put together Release content Drill document.
Put together Epoxy Release for discussion.
Looking at additional Ansible integration to land before Drill release cut. Will not hold the rel for it.
Potential for Epoxy:
- Groups in UI
- Switch information in UI
- HA
- Update of Crowbar
- Retro System deployment
- RAID and BIOS UI
- SW RAID
- Volume file system laydown
- Automated testing improvements
Round tables: Releases should be time bound
BDD extensions continue and are helpful
