Absolutely not. Under no conditions are IMs allowed to be intercepted by any viewer or object in any way whatsoever. LL will blacklist any viewer/object that allows IMs to be intercepted.

The very best you can do is control your sub's _access_ to IM.

Cheers,
Corvan.

It is possible to do babydoll, however, it is against LL Terms of Service to share or even post private conversations between two people. However, that does not include conversations that occur in local chat, as anyone may see those.  The collar will read communications within local but there again, what you will see will only be a one sided conversaton, and to me is a function that should be removed all together from any collar in SecondLife as it only promotes distrust and, drama between two or more people who are suppose to be a loving D/s couple.   I would sugest that you attend some real time BDSM discussions, as well as some of the many discussions that are held with the Adult Community Education Society within SecondLife.  What you are asking, is techinically unethical to do, and is like putting a wire tap on your sub/slave or going in and reading their private Journal.  And if not respected will cost you a sub/slave, because it will breed distrust in them towards you by telling them they have no privacy and can have no thoughts of their own, that will not result in some kind of punishment. With 30 years in Leather Life within BDSM, this is inproper protocols of a Dominant to do to their sub/slave.
