building a knowledge graph from journal articles?

Hi,

I have a collection of articles concerning hair from pubmed that I would like to build a knowledge graph from. My goal is to understand hair biology and perhaps be able to understand what makes it grow, stop growing or how to start/stop it from growing.  Would extracting a knowledge graph from this collection of articles be possible using elements from opencog? Any suggestions on how to start would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!
