Installing on WSL III

Never mind.

After installing WSL, I did apt-get update and apt-date install mpich
(but not gcc or gfortran) and it seems to work.

It took a few other tweaks, but I did run a CAF program.
I'll try to be really explicit with our Windows users on how to do all this.

Hi Walt,

I'm glad you got it working with WSL! If there are any extra steps you had to take, we'd love to know about them. Any suggestions for improving the install/build process are welcome; with the caveat that they may or may not be implemented. (We're mostly on *nix for OpenCoarrays development and there are a diverse set of windows *nix emulation and compatibility options out there from WSL, Cygwin, MSYS2, MinGW, etc etc.)

I'm curious, are you using MPICH from WSL/Ubuntu?
