Hi, My name is Pilar
A couple of month ago I asked here for troubles using openCASA.
Later, I find out that my problem was with the version of FIJI/ImageJ and I managed to solve it (or that was what I thougth)
Now I am trying to use OpenCASA in another PC and the software doesn´t track any cell, even when I install the version where it was supposed to work (fiji 1.53)
I need to track human sperm cells, acquired with a 10x objective, at 100 fps.
I don´t know if I am setting my parameters wrong or if it is still a problem with the version of fiji, and I wonder if anyone can help me.
I cant attached a video cause it is too heavy but I leave the link of googledrive
By the way, I am recording the videos using pylon viewer software and a basler camera

Thanks a lot

Hi Pili,
Yes, there is a problem with ImageJ/Fiji version. It usually solves by itself downloading an older version of ImageJ an running OpenCASA on it. Then, the new one should work (not sure what happens).
Not sure if I remember correctly, but 1.53g should work. Besides, you could check parameters, sometimes one or two of the numbers just not play well with a given set of videos.
Good luck!

Hi Felipe, I am trying to install 1.53 version of fiji and I can't do it. Do you know where I can find it? The page automatically download the last version I think, it's 1.54f
This are my parameters, any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks a lot!

Pili

Hi,
All seems good with the parameters (did you check the scale, anyway?). Just for testing, you could extend the maximum displacement to 15 or 20.
It is tricky to find the old distros repository: https://wsr.imagej.net/distros/
You can try downloading some from 2002 or older (unfortunately, they are not labelled by the exact version code).
Once downloaded, you just put the javaml and openCASA files in the appropriate places and it should work at some moment. Then, if you close all and kick up the last ImageJ or Fiji, the plugin should work.
Good luck!
Felipe
