Opencards stuck after "discovering new flash cards"

When I want to start learning or even after some time during learning, the following message pops up:

“Während des Lernens wurden neue Karteikarten entdeckt. Möchtest du diese Karten sofort lernen?“ Ja / Nein
(New flash cards have been discovered during learning, do you want to learn these cards immediately?” Yes / No)

No matter whether I click on Yes or No, the program will remain stuck here and the only way to continue is to shut it down using the Task Manager.

Please help if you can.

I am having this problem using ppt on version 2.5 and it stayed the same after downloading version 2.5.1.

That’s a feature: OC is just refreshing cardsets from files when you review items from them. So if it is discovering new items in a file, it will ask at the end of a review session, if you like to process those new items as well.

Unfortunately I’m not yet able to reproduce the problem.

Could refresh the files before starting any review: right click on cards in category view —> refresh

Does it happen just for specific cardsets?
