OpenCards no longer working

Hello Holger
You may be pleased to hear that I have been relying on OpenCards for some time now. Sad to say that some weeks ago the programm crashed and I haven't been able to either re-install or run it; I've even tried all previous releases.
The message that comes up starts:
"Due to an unexpected error OpenCards has crashed. In order to avoid corruptions of your presentation files, we would mind you to restart Open Office."
Mind you that error message comes straight away - OpenCards doesn't start up.
I'm running Windows 7 still and it sounds I'm missing maybe driver or file, but I have no idea how to troubleshoot?
Can you give any help?

are you using the latest version which is 2.5.1?
