Newbie question

I just attempted to import a powerpoint file file.

Why did it only import 12 cards out of the 120 slides in that file?

When I go to start learning, why is it not showing the images in my powerpoint slides?  (Shows only the text)

This was just my first try using it and I am at a decision point.  If I am going to use this software, it has to import about 900 slides in 7 ppt files, and show me that it can do the job.  Can it do the job?
