Hi Tom,
I just saw your commit... Is there a reason why you call 'amixer' directly for the utilite ?
Quite a while ago I have replaced nearly all calls to 'amixer' by 'mixer'. This procedure
just accumulates the mixer commands in a single string which is finally piped to the real
'amixer'. It's a bit faster than calling 'amixer' again and again...
