Yep. For me this is pretty much a show stopper. Here enabling
Bluetooth kills WiFi completely. Am I the only one seeing this ?

Also I see that we are trying to load Bluetooth on platforms
that don't have the hardware for it.

It depends if you are lucky or not.
Seriously, wifi does not work as it should (speed problem )
and sometimes BT is not working because the firmware stops to load in
the middle of the file
and as you mentioned, BT seems to kill wifi but not always. If you
switch to nm, you can have after 2 or 3 min a new working connection,
never get this possibility with connman.

Ok , so the script needs to be reworked

Hi Tom,

I have not looked at this since I have no use for Bluetooth. I noticed that in some rare
situations WiFi did work, which was probably caused by Bluetooth not initialising correctly.

I have not tried network manager even though you mentioned it a few times. Do you think it
is better than connman ? If it has advantages, we should use it instead.

BTW, I think AirPlay is still not working. Did you try ? I'm not so much into that Apple
stuff, even though I have access to an iPad 1.

it's a little more agressive
but it works quite nicely
only a symlink is missing if you install it builtin (need to be corrected)
if you install it via opkg , it should work out of the box (after
editing /etc/network, off course)

Not yet, on my todo list
Like you , I'm not so much into that, and have no real hardware to test
with (maybe with a tablet ?)

I did some testing here. After enabling airtunes, the iPad sees XBMC, but can't play anything.
In the log I see that XBMC receives something, but ends up in:

INFO: PAPlayer::QueueNextFileEx - Error reading samples

Also I can see volume change events when moving the volume slider on the iPad. Very strange...

After spending about a day, I've found the problem to be a regression in XBMC Gotham RC1.
It appears to be fixed in Gotham final. So if we move to that version, we can get rid of patch:
