Hi Tom,

Just curious: It seems like you have enabled snapshots for
'geexbox-xbmc-a20-cubieboard2'. Do we need that ?

AFAIK, video acceleration currently doesn't work. The status of the AllWinner SoCs is
the following:

1.) The Linux blobs for the A10 basically work, but there are bugs in MPEG4 decoding
The Android blobs also basically work, but have bugs in MPEG2 handling.

2.) It's unknown, if the blobs for the A10 will work on the A20. Most likely not...

3.) There are updated blobs for the A20, which suggest that they can be used for
the A10 as well. However, the new blobs come with incompatible glue code and
require a driver that is only present in the now outdated kernels by AllWinner
(i.e. not in the "community" kernels). I tried to get this to work on my A10,
but even though I made some progress, I did not succeed so far. I might try
again when I find the time and the mood to do so, as I think that not everything
has been done to finally declare it as impossible.

4.) The status for the other AllWinner devices (A13,A31) is unknown.

Besides that there are some audio issues, which I consider as less important in the
current situation.

Hello Rudi,
I didn't enable the build.
We must remove it explicitly from the list
the bot takes all configs that match geexbox-xbmc-*
Or I can rework the script to take only config from a list.
I'll do that this weekend and remove cubieboard2
Once ready, if you find the solution, just uncomment a line in a bot and
it should be ok.

That would be great. The approach we are using now (i.e. moving the config to "old/" is
not so good because they don't get refreshed automatically. You might have noticed that
I quite often refresh "mele-a1000" and "pandaboard" manually just to keep them up to date...

And - if you are changing things on the bot - would it be possible to add the hg
revision number to the top of the error log files as discussed a while ago ?

BTW, I'm about to move to "CONFIG_TOOLCHAIN_linaro_next" (i.e. gcc 4.8.3) for all the
platforms I build locally. Will report the results when done. For CuBox it seems to be
O.K. so far, but I have not yet enabled "iwmmxt2" optimizations. The latter could not be
used together with "-mfloat-abi=hard" in gcc 4.7 series...

Cheers !

Hi Tom,

something I forgot:

The configuation "geexbox-xbmc-a20-cubieboard2" exists for quite a while now. However,
it cannot be found in "http://download.geexbox.org/snapshots/" Does this mean we were
building this config but not uploading? That would explain that - according to the
upload timestamps - building of some platforms appears to take significantly longer than
others...

ready, just have to push changes
for revision, I have added it to the end.

no, all snapshots are uploaded (every hour)

the only thing is that we have not created the symlink on the server.
