Hi all:

I install the openblas library on Ubuntu 12.04 from the Ubuntu repository with the command "apt-get install libopenblas-dev", and when I try to import numpy and scipy module in python, I get the following error message: "OpenBLAS Warining : The number of CPU/Cores(80) is beyond the limit(64). Terminated".

I did some search, and find the following thread that discussed this issues posted 2 years ago: https://github.com/xianyi/OpenBLAS/issues/112.

Is it because the openblas library in the ubuntu repository is too old? Will installing the latest stable version (v.0.2.8) fix this problem? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, it is too old.

Please try v0.2.9.rc2 version. I think it already fixed this issue.
