Hello,

I’ve released a new version of OpenBiomind-GUI at http://muriloq.com/openbiomind (direct link http://muriloq.com/openbiomind/openbiomind-gui-0.0.9.20080724-dev.zip). The source code is available in r46 (changes at http://code.google.com/p/openbiomind-gui/source/detail?r=46).

Following is an update on the features in this release:

1.       Implemented GraphFeatures Wizard

1.       A png image is automatically generated if the Graphviz dot utility is specified

2.       Added a preference to set Graphviz dot utility

3.       Fixed issues in Preferences error checking

Please visit  http://openbiomind-gui.blogspot.com/ for snapshots and other details. Please visit http://opencog.org/wiki/Java_GUI_for_OpenBiomind for finer updates.

Please let me know about your suggestions and feedback.

Hi Bhavesh,

I have noticed that, like the other releases, this one is targeted to
Windows. Would it be possible to make a Linux-specific release? That
would make life easier for some OpenBiomind users. :)

Also, a Mac OS X release would also be great, but I guess that would
imply in a lot of complications since Apple is not exactly
enthusiastic about Java and so far released the 1.6 version only for
64-bit Intel machines.

In principle you just need to install the Eclipse RCP Delta Pack. It allows Export Wizard to generate builds for multiple platforms (including Mac OS X and WPF/"Windows Vista" releases).

I use it all the time for generating win32 builds from my Ubuntu machine, but I don't know how well it works for Mac OS X.

The most recent one, for Eclipse 3.4 "Ganymede", can be downloaded from

http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.4-200806172000/download.php?dropFile=eclipse-3.4-delta-pack.zip

Simply uninstall it to the Eclipse directory and you should be good to go.

Hi Lúcio,

I will put multiple OS build from next build onwards.
I think a Mac OS X is ideally possible.
