TIGR MeV and MIDAS

We should take a look at the features provided by

TM4 MeV

TM4 MIDAS
http://www.tm4.org/midas.html

They support some of the task types implemented in OpenBiomind (e.g. clustering / featuring selection); perhaps their interfaces maybe inspiring.

I used them a few years ago; the quality of the source code then wasn't very high, and the interface wasn't as sophisticated / "nice" as the ones based on RCP...
