Badge baking endpoint

Hi Group,

We have been using a very old Mozilla Open Badges endpoint to bake our digital badges for our non profit organization:

http://backpack.openbadges.org/baker?assertion=[URL] 

Does anybody know if this endpoint will be removed/abandoned? Or will it continue to be available? Is badgr maintaining this endpoint?
