Hi,

just wanted to share my happiness with you...
I just downloaded the german observations from DeepSkyLog and imported
them into OM without any problem. Over 700 observations, without any
problem...is this soooo cool! :-)

A very good showcase for everyone who has doubts a logging standard
makes (sorry: made) sense.

Best regards

Dirk

We've implemented OAL support at very primordial stages right now,
which is going to be released with KDE 4.4 in January. However, I
guess it needs a good lot of testing now, which the KStars team needs
to find time for :). Thanks for your support! :)

Akarsh

I guess I forgot about this. How can I offer up some testing help?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

I'm sorry, I saw this only now. I am increasingly bent upon this feature now, except that I don't have time to code it. However, I might be able to get a student "intern" to code it. Let us see if he's interested...

It would be easiest for me if you could try it out the Observation Planner, and "Execute" UI, and give the kstars-devel mailing list a report of what is working and what is not. That will help a lot.

Thanks.

Regards
Akarsh
