My Introduction

Hi everybody,

I am a working IT professional with a deep interest in astronomy and astro-archeology. I have graduated with a B.Tech degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. 

I came across your organisation on the GSoC organisations page and it instantly caught my attention. I am in the process of I would love to contribute to OpenAstronomy this summer and beyond, irrespective of whether or not I get selected through GSoC. 

I have significant experience in javascript and python. I also have a working knowledge of C++. 

Could someone please suggest a project which I could learn about and start contributing to? I love stars and constellations but I am open to any project that needs some hands.
