Hey Guys I am an Engineering student and after reading all your
posts in this group I think you all are too in Embedded system
design !!!! and thus I think that you will definitely help me :P
I going to design a Bot which will be tracking a Red color ball
using camera as its input to processor.I have the code(in OpenCV as
well as MATLAB) which does the job of defining position of ball in
image frame and by using that I will move my motors to get that ball.
So,my problem are 1st my teacher forcing me to do this task
without using Laptop or Computer how should I do this ?? 2nd thing
asper my search on google many people are using Panda or Beagle B.
among them which is best ??

You can use development boards or you can make one on own consisting of only those things which you require.

Beagle Board I would suggest. It's good for image processing.
You need DSP for Image Processing.

However you need to consider :

1) How much time you have in hand as it takes time to get bealg baord and get it running.
2) Beagleboard is coslty as per your project scope. However if your college can get it for you , then in future too it will be of good use.
3) Most important :
Is your idea already implemented : http://mechomaniac.com/OpenCVBallTracking
