This is price gauging.  And the mini link is very minimally useful for most of us. Cut this price in half & you'd be in the actual market.

Please be civil.

And FWIW, your misspelling may be more accurate than the word you intended: they may well gauge that price to be too high for anyone to be willing to pay for a loopable pump.  Or maybe someone will pay extra for all the included CGM stuff: dunno.  But there's no reason to throw around accurations of "price gouging".

I disagree. I researched prices and most were higher less a reseller from Russia selling them for $450. Additionally I added the CGM, Carelink Monitor, Uploader and several clips. While you objected to the price you could have offered what you thought was reasonable and I may have entertained your offer.

Your price gouging comment was way out of line.

I'm not shopping, just voicing this concern for many who are looking. I do object to seeing inflated prices from resellers which are already double or above what going rates were just 6 months ago. I get principles of supply/demand, but this is healthcare. I have the same objection to insulin that is $300+ per vial for the sake of pure profit from another's misfortune.  I don't usually post on this topic, however I have seen so many really high priced loopable pumps lately I just felt I needed to speak up this time.

AB,

We are not the profit police.  If someone can figure out how to find new loopable pumps that wouldn't otherwise available, and offers them for sale at a price someone is willing to pay, then that means the buyer felt the price was worth it, and I don't want to be denying them the opportunity to build a closed loop just because we wish the pumps were easier to acquire.

FWIW, it's now also possible to loop with the Roche (Accu-chek) Combo pump using AndroidAPS, if you can acquire one.  I don't know of any distributors selling them new in the US since Roche left the market here, but they are FDA approved, unlike the SOOIL DanaR pump, and widely available outside the US.

I respect that 100% I was at my Endo's office where we were talking about what I was going to do with my 530G. To make a long story short, it was suggested that I could sell my 722 for $1000 and up. I researched and the reliable adds were in that range and higher. I thought I would come in below that and add some note worth extras.

Thinking about my pricing some more I have lowered the price to $675 shipped. I believe that to be even more competitive given everything included in the deal.

Your old price was fine IMHO - too high for me to pick up as a backup, but fine.

If you don't get a buyer here, you can also post the pump into the Looped Facebook group.  They do have some rules, but I think the main one is you have to post your price.

I got mine for free from a good soul in the “pay it forward” Facebook group. There is no right or wrong, pure luck and opportunities I guess...

Hi Rotnee,
Is this still for sale by chance? We are based in New Zealand and on the lookout for a 715 or 722 to work with my wife’s adrenal insufficiency. This would be perfect for us to kick start a better quality of life for her. Let me know
