Hi, All,

I'm investigating the use of OpenAnzo 3.1 for a project that I'm just
starting. Getting the server running was quick-and easy :-) And I did
some first experiments. But this project will also require the use of
the client API. So I read the documentation in the wiki, and I
understand most of that is actually meant for the 2.5 version instead
of 3.1. I also downloaded the openanzo-3.1.0-client package. However,
that package doesn't contain any of those or other examples. Am I
correct to conclude that I should take the examples for 2.5 and are on
my own to see how I 'port' those to 3.1 using the 'Anzo Java client
3.0 Migration Guide'?

Thanks in advance,

Menzo

Hi Menzo,

The examples for Open Anzo 3.1 are in SVN at:
http://svn.openanzo.org/svn/openanzo/openanzo/trunk/org.openanzo.client.sample/

So using the SVN command line client you can get them by doing:
svn co
http://svn.openanzo.org/svn/openanzo/openanzo/trunk/org.openanzo.client.sample/

You are right that most of the architecture and programming guides are
for Anzo 2.5. However, the Open Anzo 3.1 samples along with the
migration guide should help you get going. Many of the concepts you
learned from the 2.5 docs will transfer over.

Some useful docs that do apply to version 3.1 are:
The API documentation -
http://www.openanzo.org/projects/openanzo/wiki/AnzoClientDesign
SPARQL extensions -
http://www.openanzo.org/projects/openanzo/wiki/SPARQLExtensions
