Hi all,
Just a quick reminder that on Tuesday (Nov 4) the data you see on OpenAlex will change to the new data from the new, rewritten codebase [1]. You don't need to do anything, because the schema will not change, and the data itself will be mostly the same.

This data has been in beta throughout October, and available via data-version=2 parameter. But now it'll be the default. We'll keep the old codebase running through the end of November, and you'll be able to access it using the data-version=1 parameter.

You can compare the two datasets using the purpose-built OpenAlex Rewrite Evaluation Overview which will be live through November.

We'll also publish a detailed changelog next week.
Best,
Jason

[1] The plan was to launch it today (Nov 1), but we're postponing a bit since it's the weekend.
