First ever in-person users meeting in Paris

Big news: we're hosting the first in-person OpenAlex Users Meeting in Paris, October 20-22, 2026, and we'd love to see you there.

Even better, we want you on the program. Our call for proposals is now open for 10-minute talks from across the community. We'd love to hear about:

• Tools, dashboards, and analyses you've built with OpenAlex
• How your institution or country uses OpenAlex in practice
• Research powered by OpenAlex data
• Lessons learned, rough edges, and what you wish existed

You don't need polished results. Works-in-progress and "here's what was hard" talks are some of the most valuable ones. We'll group talks into themed sessions once we've seen the full set of proposals, so don't worry about fitting a track.

Submitting takes about five minutes: you'll just need a title, a short abstract (around 250 words), and your affiliation.
